Step 1
Fill out our custom inquiry form or schedule a consultation with us, either virtually or in person at our Greenpoint, Brooklyn studio.
Once submitted, the Seelye team will reach out to confirm and begin the conversation.
During this time, we’ll get to know you, hear more about the project you have in mind, and walk you through our custom process. We’ll talk through your ideas, inspiration, timeline, budget, and any initial design thoughts before deciding on the best direction for your piece.
We have no set minimums, but for custom ceremonial rings, we recommend a starting budget of $8,000 for designs featuring lab-grown diamonds or heirloom stone reworks, and $15,000 for pieces featuring natural diamonds.
These recommended starting points allow us the flexibility to source beautiful materials and create a piece that fully reflects our hand-carved, bespoke process.
Step 2
To officially begin your project, we’ll collect our $400 custom design fee.
From there, the Seelye team will begin ideating and sketching, presenting 2–3 initial design directions for you to explore. Together, we’ll refine your favorite and land on one final design to move forward with.
Once the direction is set, we’ll source any materials needed for your piece, including stones. Hannah will then begin hand-carving your design from wax in our Brooklyn studio, sharing updates and bringing you into the process along the way.
Once your final stone has been selected, a second payment will be due to secure the stone. This payment will vary based on the final stone selected.
Step 3
Once the final carving and budget are approved, we will send the remaining invoice for the metal price and finishing fees, which include polishing and stone setting.
The wax will head to our trusted partners to be casted and finishing.
Once ready, we will pass it back to you to love and cherish.
