Seelye
(Seal - ee)
Our shared middle name passed down from the generations of women before us.
We create wearable art, meant to live on your body and move with your story.
Our Belief
We believe that your jewelry is your armor; evoking a state of being when worn, reminding you of what makes you uniquely, You.
We believe that each piece of our jewelry has a story to tell, intimately woven into the details. From the sourcing of the material, to the inspiration from which it was born, as it begins its journey from generation to generation.
Who We Are
We are mother and daughter, dear companions, living and working between Brooklyn and Boulder.
Every Seelye design grows from our shared love of artistry, intention, and purpose. Together, we bring our ideas into collaboration, creating jewelry that carries meaning woven intimately into its details. From the sourcing of the materials to the inspiration behind its form, each design begins a journey that extends beyond its maker - meant to be worn, cherished, and passed from generation to generation.
Hannah, a graduate of Studio Jewelers in New York City, specializes in the art of lost-wax carving and casting, handcrafting each design in our Brooklyn studio. In addition to countless hours at the bench carving and creating, she is a graduate of GIA’s Comprehensive CAD/CAM program, allowing her to thoughtfully merge time-honored craftsmanship with modern design technology.
An Ode and Our Mission to Give Back
This company is an ode to females who have led the way for us with their strength and grace. We are constantly inspired by the courageous women that surround us today and honor the importance of community and the power it brings. We hope our jewelry stands as a reminder, to celebrate and honor all that is you, as we continue to carve the path for those who follow.
Since the very beginning of Seelye, we’ve believed that beauty should also create impact. Each month, we donate to Planned Parenthood and the Brady United, supporting reproductive rights and the fight to end gun violence. When you purchase from us, you’re not only investing in a piece of jewelry—you’re also contributing to these vital causes. Giving back isn’t an afterthought; it’s woven into who we are and what we create.
