Earth Day - RING CARVING
April 24th at 6:30pm — Earth Day at Seelye Designs
Join Seelye Designs for a ring-making workshop and intimate gathering in celebration of Earth Day.
We will begin the evening with a guest speaker and respected leader in the fine jewelry industry, Jay of Perpetuum Jewels. We will be unpacking what it truly means to shop responsibly — from understanding ethical sourcing to navigating the differences between natural, lab-grown, and antique diamonds.
This intimate discussion is designed to empower you with knowledge, transparency, and confidence when investing in fine jewelry. Whether you’re a soon-to-be bride searching for an engagement ring, beginning to build a meaningful jewelry collection, or simply curious about the impact behind what you wear, this event offers a thoughtful, accessible guide to making informed choices that align with your values.
Following the conversation, each guest will be guided through carving their own ring using the traditional art of lost-wax carving. Choose between our classic 5mm band or our bold 10mm power band. Your carving will then be professionally cast in metal, resulting in a piece meant to be worn—and cherished—for a lifetime.
Expect an evening of conversation, education, and connection — all rooted in craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design.
The ticket includes -
Wine and bites
All materials needed
One casted ring in solid sterling silver, 6-8 weeks after the workshop
Add-ons, including the option to cast in 14k gold can be selected and paid for at the event time, along with ethically sourced stones.
