Mother's Day - RING CARVING

from $295.00

May 16th at 12:30 - 2:30 — at Seelye Designs

Join Seelye Designs for a ring-making workshop and intimate gathering in celebration of May and Mothers Day.

We will be donating 10% of profits to the Acacia Center for Justice, a national nonprofit working to ensure that immigrants, especially children, have access to legal representation and due process in the U.S. immigration system.

Our hearts are heavy with the state of the world. As mother and daughter, and simply as human beings, we mourn with the families who have been torn apart. We ache for the children left to navigate fear, uncertainty, and systems far too complex for anyone, let alone a child, to face alone. In moments like these, we are all called to show up for one another in times of need.

Acacia works alongside a network of community-based legal organizations to provide and strengthen legal defense for adults and unaccompanied children facing detention and deportation. Their work ensures that children are not left to defend themselves in court, but are met with advocacy, protection, and care at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

This feels especially meaningful to us as mother and daughter. While this offering is small, it is made with deep intention. An act of solidarity and care, rooted in the belief that all human beings, especially our children, deserve safety, dignity, and someone standing beside them.

Thank you for joining us in creating something meaningful, and in supporting families and children seeking justice and stability.

In addition, each guest will be guided through carving their own ring using the traditional art of lost-wax carving. Choose between our classic 5mm band or our bold 10mm power band. Your carving will then be professionally cast in metal, resulting in a piece meant to be worn—and cherished—for a lifetime.

Expect an evening of conversation, education, and connection — all rooted in craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design.

The ticket includes -

  • Wine and bites

  • All materials needed

  • One casted ring in solid sterling silver, 6-8 weeks after the workshop

Add-ons, including the option to cast in 10k and 14k gold can be selected and paid for at the event time, along with ethically sourced stones.

Please note: tickets are non-refundable two weeks prior to the event.
